Negotiation Skills for Scientists
Difficult people are . . . well . . . difficult.
Dealing with situations where all the people involved are calm and open is fairly easy. However, people are rarely always calm and completely open. Hidden agendas, preconceived ideas, emotional history and the emotion of the moment make negotiating in the real world a lot more difficult.
